Which LED frame size to choose? Distance, location, model

Start with the viewing distance

The most common mistake is choosing the format by eye while browsing an online shop. Before you decide, stand where customers usually stand and judge from what distance they need to read the most important information. The further away, the larger the format and the bigger the lettering.

• Up close (counter, table, reception): A5–A4 with power bank or A4–A3 on support feet.
• From a few metres (wall by the entrance, menu, corridor): A2–A1.
• From a distance (large wall, window seen from the street, hall): A0, 800 × 1200 mm, 800 × 1800 mm or 1200 × 2400 mm.

Match the shape to the space

Besides size, proportion matters. A narrow column, a strip above the counter and a wide wall need different poster shapes.

• Column, narrow wall, spot by the door: 300 × 1200 mm or 600 × 1600 mm.
• Above the counter: horizontal double-sided frames from 900 × 350 mm to 1200 × 450 mm, suspended on cables.
• Window visible from two sides: double-sided A2, A1 or A0 frame on cables.
• Table or counter without a socket: A5 or A4 power bank frame.

Choose a model

• Single-sided: 12 mm thick in total, including 3 mm tempered glass. For walls, support feet or a stand.
• Double-sided hanging: 14 mm, glass on both sides and two independent posters. For windows and suspension.
• Horizontal double-sided: 11 mm, acrylic fronts. For suspending above a counter.
• With built-in power bank: cable-free, for tables or counters, in A5 and A4 formats.

All formats in one place

The dimensions given are graphic dimensions in millimetres. Use them to prepare your file for printing on backlit film.

• Single-sided A sizes: A5 (148 × 210 mm), A4 (210 × 297 mm), A3 (297 × 420 mm), A2 (420 × 594 mm), A1 (594 × 841 mm), A0 (841 × 1189 mm).
• Single-sided medium: 300 × 400, 400 × 500, 400 × 600, 400 × 700, 500 × 700, 500 × 800, 600 × 800, 600 × 900 mm.
• Single-sided elongated and large: 300 × 1200, 600 × 1200, 600 × 1600, 750 × 1200, 800 × 1200, 800 × 1800, 1200 × 2400 mm.
• Double-sided vertical: A2, A1, A0.
• Horizontal double-sided: 600 × 350, 900 × 350, 1000 × 350, 1200 × 450 mm.
• With power bank: A5, A4.

Examples

If you are torn between two formats, tape a sheet of paper of the target size to the wall and look at it from where the customer will stand. The test takes a minute and settles most doubts.

• Café: A4 with power bank by the till with the offer of the day and an A1 menu on the wall by the entrance.
• Clothing shop: double-sided A0 suspended in the window, with a campaign for passers-by and for customers inside.
• Hair salon: 300 × 1200 mm with the service price list by the door.
• Quick-service counter: three horizontal 1200 × 450 mm frames with meal deals above the counter.
• Hotel: A3 on support feet at reception and 800 × 1800 mm in the lobby.

Custom formats — for larger orders

We make frames in non-standard sizes for larger orders: large formats (larger than A1) from 50 pieces, smaller formats (A1 and below) from 100 pieces. The minimum quantity and price depend on the dimensions and the total order value — each such project is quoted individually.
