AIRPORTS AND STATIONS
A message travellers notice on the move.
Travellers have a few seconds of attention and plenty of distractions around them. A large, evenly illuminated LED frame cuts through that noise with a simple, clear image.
What to show in the frame
At airports and stations, frames are used both by the facility operator and by tenants of the retail units.
- Offers from food outlets and cafés in the terminal.
- Advertising for duty-free shops and kiosks.
- Services: car hire, left luggage, luggage wrapping.
- City and regional campaigns for visitors.
- Information about facilities: quiet zones, parents’ room.
Where to hang it and which format
- Concourse walls and circulation routes: 1200×2400 mm or 800×1800 mm, single-sided model.
- Columns and pillars: 600×1600 mm or 300×1200 mm.
- Unit windows in the terminal: double-sided A0 (841 × 1189 mm) suspended on cables.
- Service point counters: horizontal double-sided 1200×450 mm.
- Tables in cafés and waiting areas: A5 (148 × 210 mm) with power bank.
Why a backlit poster rather than a screen or an ordinary frame
Station concourses and terminals are full of screens showing timetables and announcements. Advertising on yet another screen easily blends in, while a static, large-format backlit poster clearly stands out. The frame needs no network connection, content server or technical support, which simplifies roll-out in facilities with strict procedures. At 12 mm thick, it can be mounted in circulation routes with nothing sticking out, and you change a tenant’s campaign in seconds.
Case study
A station operator wanted to offer tenants unified advertising displays instead of a random assortment of stands. Frames of 600×1600 mm now hang on the concourse pillars, and 1200×2400 mm frames on the wall by the exit to the platforms. Each tenant supplies its own backlit print, and facility staff change it when the campaign changes. A café on the concourse also placed A5 power bank frames with its breakfast offer on the tables.
How to order — step by step
You do not need to know about advertising or printing. You just need to know where the frame will hang and what you want to show on it.
- Measure the space and choose the artwork format — you will find tips above.
- Choose a model: single-sided for the wall, double-sided for the window, horizontal above the counter or with a power bank for the table.
- Prepare your artwork or describe what you want to show — we will help you choose the right backlit print.
- Order a frame and print at shop.ledmesee.com or send a photo of the space via the contact form.
- Hang or stand the frame, connect the power and slide in the poster. You change the next graphic in seconds.
Important: an indoor frame
LEDMESEE frames are designed for indoor use. The slot through which you change the poster is not sealed, so outdoors dust, dirt and moisture would get inside. If you want passers-by to see your advertising, place the frame indoors, behind the shop window. We are working on a special cover that will protect the frame from rain, snow, dust and dirt.
