TRAVEL AGENCIES

A beach in the window, before customers even think about a holiday.

Turquoise water and a sunset only fire the imagination when the colours are true. A backlit poster renders them just as in the catalogue photo.

What to show in the frame

A travel agency sells a dream, so the photo plays first fiddle and the text simply completes it.

  • Destination of the season with a large landscape photo.
  • Family holidays, touring trips, city breaks.
  • Winter holidays and skiing.
  • Corporate offers: team-building trips and incentive travel.
  • An incentive to book early.
02

Where to hang it and which format

  • Window: double-sided A0 (841 × 1189 mm) or A1 (594 × 841 mm) suspended behind the glass.
  • Wall behind the desks: 750×1200 mm or 800×1200 mm, single-sided model.
  • Advisers’ desks: A4 (210 × 297 mm) with power bank showing the offer of the week.
  • Narrow wall by the entrance: 600×1600 mm with a portrait-format image.
  • Waiting area: A2 (420 × 594 mm).

Why a backlit poster rather than a screen or an ordinary frame

An ordinary poster in a travel agency window quickly fades in the sun and loses saturation, while a backlit print lit from behind keeps the vivid blue of the sea and the warmth of a sunset, even on a cloudy day and after dark. A screen would need constant content planning for something a passer-by sees for a split second anyway. A frame shows one strong image without interruption. Switching from the summer to the winter season takes a few seconds at each frame.

Case study

A city-centre travel agency had a window covered in sheets of paper with offers that were unreadable from the street. They were replaced by one double-sided A0 frame with a large photo of the season’s destination and a short headline. Two 750×1200 mm frames with tours and corporate offers now hang behind the desks, and A4 power bank frames stand on the desks. The window can be read from across the street and changes twice a year.

How to order — step by step

You do not need to know about advertising or printing. You just need to know where the frame will hang and what you want to show on it.

  • Measure the space and choose the artwork format — you will find tips above.
  • Choose a model: single-sided for the wall, double-sided for the window, horizontal above the counter or with a power bank for the table.
  • Prepare your artwork or describe what you want to show — we will help you choose the right backlit print.
  • Order a frame and print at shop.ledmesee.com or send a photo of the space via the contact form.
  • Hang or stand the frame, connect the power and slide in the poster. You change the next graphic in seconds.

Important: an indoor frame

LEDMESEE frames are designed for indoor use. The slot through which you change the poster is not sealed, so outdoors dust, dirt and moisture would get inside. If you want passers-by to see your advertising, place the frame indoors, behind the shop window. We are working on a special cover that will protect the frame from rain, snow, dust and dirt.

  1. Choose the location and format: measure the space and judge from what distance customers will see the poster.
  2. Order a frame and backlit print at shop.ledmesee.com or send a photo of the space to office@ledmesee.com.
