An offer at the till, before the driver pays.
A driver spends a few minutes in the petrol station shop, mostly queuing at the till. An illuminated LED frame there suggests a coffee, a snack or a car wash before they hand over their card.
What to show in the frame
The content must be understood in two seconds: a large product photo, one headline, a price.
- Coffee to go and a coffee-plus-pastry deal.
- Hot dogs and snacks from the hot counter.
- Car wash programmes and wash packages.
- Seasonal products: screenwash, ice scrapers, accessories.
- On-the-go deals: drink, sandwich, snack bar.
Where to hang it and which format
- Above the checkout area: horizontal double-sided 1200×450 mm, visible from the queue and from the entrance.
- Checkout counter: A4 (210 × 297 mm) on support feet or with power bank.
- Wall by the coffee machine: A1 (594 × 841 mm), single-sided model.
- Shop window facing the pumps: double-sided A0 (841 × 1189 mm) hung inside behind the glass.
- Narrow wall by the door: 300×1200 mm with car wash information.
Why a backlit poster rather than a screen or an ordinary frame
A forecourt shop is brightly lit around the clock, so an ordinary poster disappears against the shelves. An LED frame has its own even light, so a photo of coffee or a hot dog stays rich even in the evening, when drivers look through the glass from the pumps. It needs no content management system like a screen, and changing a promotion simply means sliding in a new print. Important: the frame works inside the building, not on the canopy over the pumps.
Case study
A petrol station on a main road wanted to boost hot drink sales in the morning. A horizontal 1200×450 mm frame with a coffee-and-pastry deal now hangs above the tills, an A1 frame with the full drinks range is by the coffee machine, and a double-sided A0 in the window facing the pumps is visible from the forecourt. An A4 frame with the car wash offer stands on the counter. Staff change the graphics every month in line with the promotion cycle, without interrupting the shop’s trading.

Important: an indoor frame
LEDMESEE frames are designed for indoor use. The slot through which you change the poster is not sealed, so outdoors dust, dirt and moisture would get inside. If you want passers-by to see your advertising, place the frame indoors, behind the shop window. We are working on a special cover that will protect the frame from rain, snow, dust and dirt.
